Er’Den, Home to the Wilders

Throughout the jungle-covered mountains south of Freemarket can be found the sanctuaries of many Wildcallers and their companions. The largest collection of these is called the Er’Den, and is home to thousands of the Wild Ones. While there are markets and other gathering places in Er’Den, they are not apparent from a distance, blending into the lush landscape of hills, trees, and stone. One of the most remarkable traits of Er’Den is how many different species seem to live in harmony with one another, even those that would naturally be predator or prey to the others.

Hinza’s Womb

At the heart of the Verdant Mountains is an active volcano that continually smolders and simmers with magma. To the Wilders, this sacred site represents the Womb of the World. It is the place of Hinza—the eldest child of the Dragons and the cauldron of life, the life of the Land between Sea and Sky. It’s power, beauty, and unpredicable bouts of destruction serve as an exemplar to many Wildcallers.
