Motto
A Motto should be a simple, one-sentence statement that can help guide a player to make decisions for their character. It is connected to and demonstrates their ethos. A good Motto can be used in many different situations, and works both for and against the character at different times.
While a Motto can (and should) be used as often as desired in dialog and roleplay, A Motto may be used once per session as a trait for TBD.
Example Motto distinctions:
- “I’m a man of mystery.” (FLAIR)
- “Failure is not an option.” (DISCIPLINE)
- “Inconceivable!” (CUNNING)
- “I want to believe.” (LUCK)
- “Strike first, strike hard, no mercy.” (VALOR)
- “Let’s be civilized.” (DISCIPLINE)
