The Chantry
Membership in the Chantry is handled a little differently than the other factions. While any PC may align with and count themselves members of the Chantry, unless there is a significant narrative gap of 10+ years to complete the rigorous training to become an Enchanter, a PC will not be able to take a Chantry archetype after play begins. That is, a PC may associate with the Chantry during play (at Rank 1), but may not choose or recieve the benefit of a Chantry archetype. If you want to play an Enchanter, choose this faction during character creation.
Special Note on Chantry Archetypes
All Chantry archetype traits are dependent upon the Enchanter being able to use their voice. If a character is silenced, gagged, or otherwise unable to speak, they cannot activate any archetype traits.
Seeker
Dual Tone (** Unlock **)
If you have multiple Ethertech Abilities, you may activate two simultaneously on the same turn, each with the choice of Destiny or Doom. However, only one Stunt may still be used per turn.
Unlock Moonshard (** Unlock **)
Spend a Destiny point to create a Rank 1 Moonshards resource from an inert Moonshard. You may spend an additional Destiny to make it Rank 2.
Alternatively, spend a Moonshards resource (any Rank) and spend a Destiny point to make a Test Basic 1. If the test is sucessful, you create a Rank 1 Moon Relic with an Ethertech Ability. Work with the GM to determine what Ability might be appropriate. If the test ends in Disaster, the Moonshards resource is destroyed.
You may use this once per scenario.
Relicsinger
Warsong (** Unlock **)
In lieu of Power Up, you may destroy a Moonshards resource (of any Rank) to make this trait +3d6 during Venger Challenges for the remainder of the scene. If the Moonshard is a Moon Relic, this is in addition to any benefits gained from unleashing the Moon Relic. This may be used once per scene.
Empower Weapon (** Unlock **)
When you use the Power Up Stunt on a weapon with an infused Moon Relic, resolve an extra Venger Challenge die while the Power Up is active. This may be used once per scene.
