The serpentine Naga bioform predates the Moonfall. Legends of the Naga claim that they appeared on Eos before the Moonfall as the beloved peoples of the Dragon of the Deep. This would make them as ancient as the Archons themselves. The Naga have a deep connection to the sea, and their snake-like bodies allow them to move easily over land and in the water. The upper portion of the Naga bioform developed two arms with hands like most other bioforms, though their long, psi-attuned claws are unique to their kind. Nagas boast a powerful precognitive sense they claim was given to them by the Dragon of the Deep to help them sense and survive the Moonfall.

Of all the bioforms, Naga are the most tightly-knit as a single society and culture. They are led by the Sisters of the Deep, and are found almost exclusively in and around the caves of Darkshore. There are very few Naga independent of Naga culture, and very few bioforms that are members of the Deep Sisters other than Naga. PC members of a Cohort generally have a specific purpose sanctioned by the Sisters that takes them away from Darkshore, or have been exiled.

All Naga are born with the ability to adapt and change biological sexes at will. As a rite of passage, Naga generally choose a favored biological sex upon reaching adulthood, though they may change again later in life if they so choose. Naga culture does favor the female expression, and those that choose to live as males for extended periods of time are often viewed with suspicion.

Naga have their own Psience that developed alongside that of the Archons. While similar, it is not exactly the same and is tied to the Naga bioform. Since their bioform was not changed in the Moonfall, Naga that find or develop Archon Ethertech must make modifications to work with their physiology.

Traits

Danger Sense

When facing a Challenge or Test where you might take Stress from a physical source, spend a Destiny to make this trait -2 / 1d on the Challenge turn.

Paralyzing Claws

During a Venger Challenge, you may choose Destiny or Doom to make this trait +2 / 1d. You may spend an additional Destiny point to make all Cohort successes this turn resolve as A3 for the Challenge’s next turn regardless of the Challenge Rating. On the following turn, any dice resolved this way resolve again based on the Challenge Rating.

** Amphibious (Bonus) **

You may hold your breath underwater for an extended period of time, and move easily in that environment. This trait is A6 / 1d for Challenges related to moving and surviving underwater. You may choose Destiny or Doom to make this trait A6 / 2d.

** Naga Psience (Bonus) **

If it is not altered through the Blessing of the Deep, your attempts to use Archon Ethertech will be hindered. Without the Blessing applied, you have A1 / 1d to Growth tests to create a new Psionic Ability from a Moon Relic, or when attempting to make a temporary Ethertech item permanent. When using a found Ethertech item before it is made permanent, you add an extra one (1) Destiny to the cost of each use. Non-Naga bioforms will have the same hindrance while using Naga Ethertech. This is a bonus trait that all Naga have.
