Although the human bioform went extinct during the Age of Darkness, the Humas of Anasta are the most recognizablly “human” of their descendents. In the millenia since, Humas have adapted to Anasta’s challenging (and sometimes unforgiving) environments at the genetic level, giving individuals striking or subtle differences that mark them as “non-human”. Features such as pointed ears, hair of warm or cool colors, solid-colored eyes, or textured skin can be found in any major settlement. They make up the largest single group of humanoid peoples in the world but are not a majority. That may soon change, however. Their numbers are growing quickly on Anasta given their strong ability to adapt to whatever comes their way. Humas as a whole tend to be very social, and form settlements of all sizes, often with other bioforms.

Traits

Adapt Under Pressure

When your Stress is 7 or more, choose Destiny or Doom to make this trait +2 / 2d.

Lucky to Be Alive

When taking Stress that would make you Stressed Out, you may make a Test Basic 1 with no other modifiers. If you succeed, spend a Destiny point to not take the Stress.

I’m Only Huma

Whenever you lead a Cohort turn that ends in Disaster, add points to the Destiny pool equal to the number of points added to the Doom pool.
