Though the human bioform went extinct soon after the Moonfall, the Humas of Anasta are the most recognizablly “human” of the human-descendents and often resemble the variety of humans in our world. However, Humas have adapted to Anasta’s challenging (and sometimes unforgiving) environments at the genetic level, giving individuals striking or subtle differences that mark them as “non-human”. Features such as pointed ears, hair of warm or cool colors, solid-colored eyes, or textured skin can be found in any major settlement. They make up the largest single group of humanoid peoples in the world, but are not a majority. That may soon change, however, as their numbers are growing quickly in the Rebirth, given their strong ability to adapt to whatever comes their way. Humas as a whole tend to be very social, and form settlements of all sizes, often with other bioforms.
