Categories and Channels

There are four categories of abilities: Energy Generation, Bio Manipulation, Spacetime Alteration, and Domain Mastery. Each of these will then have two or three specific channels in how they manifest. For example, Bio Manipulation falls into two channels: Form and Function. Choose one category, then one channel for that category to describe how an ability manifests.

Etheric Energy Generation

This channel brings Ether into direct manifestation as light without heat. It appears as the ghostly fire on the cool spectrum that gives Ethertech its distinctive glow in blues, greens, and violets. Though it produces no heat as thermal radiation, it does affect bioforms through Etheric radiation. Direct contact may produce Etheric burns by destabilizing a bioform.

Solaric Energy Generation

This channel produces intense flames, plasmas, and electromagnetic phenomena. Solaric Energy appears as the bright sun and burning fire. It gives Solartech items their distinctively warm glow of yellows, oranges, and reds.

Bioform Manipulation

This channel manipulates the anatomy of a bioform, affecting or creating limbs or organs.

Biofunction Manipulation

This channel manipulates the physiology of a bioform, creating, enhancing, or destroying biological functions. Resisting the elements, adjusting heart rate, or enhancing vision are some examples of Biofunction Manipulation.

Space Alteration

This channel alters the fabric of space, possibly creating, expanding, or destroying the distance between bioforms.

Time Alteration

This channel alters time itself, speeding up or slowing down time, or even altering probabilities.

Land Mastery

This channel affects most of the inorganic matter between Sea and Sky, including all minerals and metals. Creating metal objects, shaping rock and stone, and traveling through solid objects are all possibilities.

Sea Mastery

This channel influences water in all its forms, as well as the nature of the Sea between the Land and the Deep. Creating ice, breathing water, and hydrating/dehydrating bioforms fall under the umbrella of Sea Mastery.

Sky Mastery

This channel controls the air and the realm between the Land and the Heavens. Directing the wind, changing the density of air, and weather control are just a few potential ways this manifests.
