Cohort Motto

Similar to a single character’s Motto, the cohort will have a Motto that encompasses its personality as an entity of its own. How does the world view the cohort? How do they see themselves? What is the motivation that drives most of their actions as a group? Is it the leadership of someone in the group or another character in the game world? Is it a faction or philosophy? Questions along these lines can help guide the group in creating their shared Motto.

If you need more concrete ideas to anchor to, look to the traits of individual members for inspiration. Is there a common Ethos? A shared Faction? A defining Relationship? Like a single character’s Motto, this may change over time as the group changes and evolves through their adventures together.

The Cohort Motto is a group trait and functions the same as an individual Motto that all cohort members have access to.
